A Day in the West Complete Western Experience Day Trip

Brief Description: This tour starts off on the Lil Rattler jeep trail for a 2 hour ride. The trail boasts gorgeous views of the western canyons, and you’ll enjoy the combination of mild and wild four-wheeling as you navigate over the rocks. Then head out to the stables where you’ll ride on a 1.5 hour horseback ride along the banks of the Verde River. This ride is sure to keep you cool as you make your way on horseback under giant Sycamore and Cottonwood trees. Slide Rock Day Trip

Brief Description: Take a trip with us to a 43-acre historical apple farm located in Oak Creek Canyon known as Slide Rock State Park.  The park is named after the famous Slide Rock which is a slippery creek bottom.  You’ll have the chance to swim, wade, picnic, bird watch, fish, play volleyball and hike some of the parks trails.  If you are really adventurous, you’ll have the chance to cliff jump from 25 and 50 feet into the waiting water below.  To prepare for your visit it would be wise or ideal to bring your bathing suit, sun block, trash bags, and comfortable shoes.

The Apache Trail Excursion

Brief Description: The most ancient highway in all of North America, the Apache Trail flaunts its’ irresistible beauty with mighty canyon, jagged mountain peaks, and sparkling desert lake while exuding the flavor and romance of the Old West.  As one of the most scenic drives in the country, it is also one of the most dangerous.  We will have experienced and knowledgeable tour guides to do the driving so everyone in our group can enjoy the ride worry free!  This is a full day expedition that will travel through Canyon Lake, the infamous Fish Creek Hill, Apache Lake and a stop and shop at Tortilla Flat to whet our whistle.  After a short break, we’ll see Roosevelt Lake and Dam and partake in a guided hike up into the ancient Salado Indian Ruins.  Then we will step into the past and into the rooms of a primitive Cliffside village.

Salt River Tubing Day Trip

Admission Fee (If Any):Join us on a trip to Mesa, Arizona.  We’ll spend the day tubing the Lower Salt river rapids in Tonto National Forest near Mesa, Arizona!  The Salt River is a recreational area that allows you the opportunity to float on mountain-stream water.  Enjoy and experience a float lasting from three to five hours depending on flow of the water.  Tennis shoes or aqua shoes are recommended and children must be eight years of age and/or four feet tall for tubing.  Upon arrival you will have to pay a tube rental/transportation fee of $14.00-20.00 for tube rental/shuttle service once we arrive at our destination.

Kartchner Caverns State Park

Brief Description: We’ll be lead on two tours covering approximately 1 mile in length and lasting around 3 hours.  One hour and fifty minutes of these tours take place underground.  The Kartchner Caverns story is one of amazing discoveries, past, present, and future.  We’ll marvel at the strange and colorful formations, learn about the cave fauna, both ancient and living, experience the wonder of cave discovery, discover the role that water plays at Kartchner Caverns, see the discoverers’ original trail, 45,000 year-old bat guano, delicate formations and Kubla Khan, the largest column in Arizona.  Children must be 7 years and older to participate in this trip.
